Summary :

The Field Service Technician is responsible for repairing pumps and performing fabrication design tasks in the field at various customer sites.

This role involves maintaining a current driver’s license, and demonstrating knowledge of various systems. The technician must adhere to safe service practices and work effectively with both hand tools and power tools.

Additionally, welding and fabrication skills are essential, along with knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. The technician will dismantle and reassemble pumps of all makes and models supported by Denver Industrial Pumps, Inc.

Excellent communication with customers in a professional manner is crucial. The ability to diagnose and correct problems related to pumping systems, regardless of weather conditions, is a key aspect of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Repair pumps.
• Maintain a current driver’s license.
• Demonstrate knowledge of varying systems.
• Follow safe service practices.
• Work effectively with hand tools and power tools.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
• Understand electrical systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems.
• Tear down and build up pumps of all makes and models supported by Denver Industrial Pumps, Inc.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Diagnose and correct problems related to pumping systems.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Document work performed.
• Gather necessary information for parts orders.
• Other duties may be assigned.
